My guardian angel is working overtime. Last night my cat was stalking something. It turned out to be a young rattler less than 2 feet long but it slithered away. Today, I was working in the garden and nearly stepped on it! There it was coiled right next to my feet! I went in the house and got a plastic bucket and clear plastic plate. I got the snake into the bucket with the plate on top and a heavy soda bottle on top of the plate to keep it from escaping. I don't want a "pet snake" but I don't want to release it back into my garden nor do I want to kill it. Any ideas?
To whom it may concern: Can you please identify this snake? This was in my yard yesterday. We disposed of it. But, after doing so I thought I wanted my information about this snake. I want to know what type of snake this is, would there be more in the area perhaps a nest in my yard and in the area, and it's behaviors. Should I be concern? I live in

Hello my name is Natalie. I found your website when I was looking up Black snakes in Florida. After finding the info about
moccasins and black racers I realised the black snake I saw was definitely not a moccossin. Any way... I have always loved animals but only have experience with pets. I thought of a
career in animal control but I had such a negative view of that business
until now. I was wondering what type of schooling and/or experience is needed to get a job with your company or any animal control company?
