Richmond Virginia Snake Situation: I had to have my water heater replaced last week and I was told there are approximately 15 snake skins just hanging in a 5 foot area. Needless to say, the person did not investigate further. However, I was told the snakes are hibernating under the insulation of my house. The woman saw one snake of pretty good size and she described it as gray with checkered pattern. Is there anyone who would come and get them just for fun or anything but money? I'm currently renting the house but I have already signed the paperwork to buy it in September, but I would like to know if I could get them removed because I don't know if there's enough of them to take over me and my pups. I don't wish to kill them if they're not venomous because I detest rodents, however, I don't wish to maintain the haven of multiple snakes either.

I saw you analyze snake skins and my get photos. I am teaching reptiles and amphibians to elementary science Olympiad team of 2 girls. They may need to identify snake by it's shed. They will have other info too, but I was trying to get pictures to tell difference between skins. Do you happen to have a picture of the following skins: eastern massasauga, timber rattlesnake, black rat snake, eastern fox snake, western fox snake, common garter snake, butler's garter snake, blue racer, smooth green snake, northern brown snake, northern ring-necked snake, eastern milk snake, northern water snake, western diamond back rattlesnake, green anaconda, aruba island rattlesnake, Mexican lance headed rattlesnake, cottonmouth. If not, do you have any idea where I could find pictures. Also, if you have any tips for us on how to identify by skins, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for your help
