Fort Worth Texas Snake Situation: Snake removal services - Not all companies offer snake removal services. Handling snakes is something only a few professional are willing to do because of the risk involved. If you're looking for a directory of qualified officials, there are some good sources on the Internet. Many of these sites will have tips on how to handle snakes, hot to identify snakes, and when you need to call a professional. Keep in mind that hiring an expert to remove the animals is only a tiny piece of the puzzle. To be as snake-free as possible, you need to make sure your yard does not look tempting to transient snakes. This means keeping your grass cut shirt, keeping up with trimming, and eliminating thick gardens or piles of debris. But before you go all out in your snake removal tactics, remember that snakes do a valuable service to your property by keeping rodent and insect populations depressed. The issues you will have with nuisance rodents are far more serious than any issues you will have with snakes. Even venomous snakes are not always to be feared. Most dangerous vipers will only attack if surprised or antagonized. That does not mean you want them in your yard; however, they do just as much for rodent control as nonvenomous snakes.

Hello, We are in Fort Worth, Texas, and we need your help. We have 2 small children, so this is of importance to us. For about 2 weeks now, we have been finding snake poop in our garage. It is about 2 inches long, thin in diameter and has a white ball at the end of it. Everything we have read says this is snake poop. We keep our mini-van in the garage, and I load the children by myself out there, and th last thing we need is a strike by a snake. Two of the snake droppings were found on consecutive days, and this worries me since I read that snakes only poop once every 3-5 days. This makes us wonder if there are multiple snakes. We have no idea how to begin trapping and getting rid of this snake. But we need to be able to safely enter our garage and are horrified right now. There is a ton of crap all over our garage (tools, tool boxes, shelves, etc, so he or they could be anywhere. Can you help us, and how much? We are in Tarrant County Thanks.
